Objectives of this Helideck Fire Team Member Training

The main objective of the Helideck Fire Team Member Training is to give Helideck Attendants knowledge that will enable them carry out emergency response actions incorporating fire fighting situations and rescue at the helideck. At the end of the training delegates should be able to:

• Select and use firefighting equipment as appropriate to helideck emergencies
• Extinguish fires on the helideck
• Locating and rescue casualties trapped in a crashed helicopter
• Use BAs and associated equipment

 

Training Duration:

The Helideck Fire Team Member Training has duration of two (2) days. This includes classroom presentations, discussion, exercises and role plays. We can organize the training onsite in Nigeria.

 

Training Prerequisite:

To attend this Helideck Fire Team Member Training, participants must have completed a training course on basic fire fighting or have some experience in structural fire fighting. Ability to write and understand basic English.
